This sink tells a story of a family and their passion for Foxhunting, a sport steeped in tradition and history. Meeting the family on-site provided inspiration and an exciting view of the home landscape where the hunts often take place. A personal introduction to the beautifully groomed horses and the overly energetic hounds helped to provide additional custom details and insight. A porcelain pedestal Kohler Revival sink was chosen for it's wide, flat, painting surfaces, which provide ample room for creating a detailed scene. The composition includes family members, favorite horses, and the beloved hounds in action during a hunt on their homestead. Faucets are painted with male and female club logos, which are usually worn on hunt coats in the form of buttons. To mark the season, Canadian geese in flight are painted in the distance. For a bit of humor, a sitting fox is painted on the stone wall near the house. Featured in the main powder room of their home, visitors, friends, and family are always able to experience the spirit of the hunt.
